On Monday, May 29th, 2017 at around 10:30 p.m., the Forney Police Department responded to 500 Market Place Blvd., in regards to a report of a reckless driver.
At approximately 8:05 am, Forney Police attempted to perform a routine traffic stop on a motorcycle without tags which was traveling east bound on the Hwy 80 Service Road.

On Wednesday, November 16th, 2016, a theft report was taken at the Forney Police Department.
It was reported items were stolen from a local retail store in the 700 block of East US Hwy 80 on November 4th, 2016. The items were discovered to be stolen after inventorying and reviewing in store video.
